Induction programmes are vital in responding to these challenges, bridging the gaps in initial teacher education, and connecting theory with practice. Induction comprises systematic and collaborative processes of professional development, where experienced teachers act as mentors, guiding and supporting their colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>The Conference highlights the need for formal training for mentors and the transformative impact of certified mentor training programmes on shaping the teaching career. The results of LOOP model \u2013 a Teachers&#8217; Induction Programme based on a Mentoring Programme \u2013 will be presented and discussed.
